Boys basketball

Shawn Reid had game highs of 13 points and seven rebounds to lead visiting Post Falls (4-7, 2-1) to a 65-47 victory over Sandpoint (3-5, 0-2) in Inland Empire League play on Wednesday night. Levi Buckles chipped in 12 points for PF, while Malcolm Colbert had 11 points and four assists. Tanner French scored 11 to pace Sandpoint. … Moscow (4-4, 1-1) beat visiting Lakeland (3-4, 0-2) 53-31.

•In non-league action, Kenny Stuart tossed in 16 points, Jeremiah Big Spring had 12 points and six rebounds and Seth Ketchum added 12 points to lead Kellogg (5-4) to a 59-52 win over visiting Newport (2-7). Willie Hunt sank five 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 22 points for Newport. … Gus Payne scored 16 to propel Kettle Falls (4-4) to a 72-64 victory over visiting Curlew (7-4). Curlew’s Austin Mannick led all scorers with 26. … Tekoa-Oakesdale (5-4) won on the road at Asotin 68-65. Casey Cook scored 24 and Josiah Tampien 23 for the Nighthawks.

Coby Dick scored a game-high 20 points and Matt Pleasants tallied 15 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists to power Lake Roosevelt to a 74-64 win over visiting Omak in Caribou Trail League play.

Girls basketball

Camille Reynolds hit a pair of 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 20 points and Ali Whitted added 12 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocks to help Lakeland (3-9, 1-4) post a 58-53 road win over Moscow (0-13, 0-6) in Inland Empire League play. Chantel Divilbiss topped Moscow with 16 points. … Also in the IEL, Katelyn Loper hit her first six shots, four from 3-point range, and finished with a game-high 22 points to lead Post Falls (12-2, 4-2) to a 62-31 win over host Sandpoint (4-8, 1-4).

•In non-league play, Jessica Coots tallied 14 points, 10 steals and eight rebounds to power Kettle Falls (4-4) to a 55-37 victory over visiting Curlew (4-7). Chelsea Brisbois added 14 points, 10 rebounds and five steals for KF.

Gymnastics

Katie Green and Taylor Gray finished 1-2 in the all-around to power Mead to a victory in a four-way meet at Lewis and Clark. Green (34.125) and Gray (33.15) helped the Panthers pile up 162.425 points, easily outdistancing Central Valley (150.65), Shadle Park (150.65) and LC (103.8).
