Reserve leads No. 2 Memphis in rout of Siena

Reserve Jeff Robinson scored 20 points and Chris Douglas-Roberts added 19, including 17 in the first half, to lead No. 2 Memphis to a 102-58 victory over Siena (7-5) on Thursday night in Memphis, Tenn.

Joey Dorsey hit all five of his shots, scored 12 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked four shots for Memphis (12-0).

Robert Dozier had 13 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for the Tigers.

(10) Marquette 96, Providence 67: At Milwaukee, Dominic James scored 21 points and Lazar Hayward added 17 as the Golden Eagles (11-1) defeated the Friars (9-4) in the Big East opener for both teams.

(15) Vanderbilt 76, Rice 58: At Nashville, Tenn., Shan Foster had 24 points and five rebounds and the Commodores (14-0) defeated the Owls (3-9). Vanderbilt forced a season-high 24 turnovers.

DePaul 84, (17) Villanova 76: At Rosemont, Ill., Draelon Burns scored 20 points and Karron Clarke added 14 as the Blue Demons (5-7) upset the Wildcats (10-2) in the Big East opener for both teams.

Women

(1) Connecticut 88, Villanova 38: At Villanova, Pa., Tina Charles had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Mel Thomas added 16 points, leading the Huskies (12-0, 1-0) over the Wildcats (10-4, 0-1) in the Big East opener for both teams.

(5) Maryland 84, Wake Forest 49: At Winston-Salem, N.C., Crystal Langhorne had 15 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Terrapins (17-1, 1-0) over the Demon Deacons (12-3, 0-1) in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both teams.
