Local articles are what we need

The Spokesman-Review is getting skimpier, but it’s OK by me as long as Your Voice keeps printing articles like the Jan.3 “SCRAPS to enforce new ordinance,” and “Assessments match dogs with owners of similar lifestyle,” and “Shelter pets find new homes.” The accompanying picture of the SCRAPS kittens was priceless, too.

We can get national news from CNN, Fox, or USA Today. We need more of these local articles that keep us informed and inspired about how we can help solve local problems. Keep up the good work!
