Touch of New Orleans at Veradale UCC

The Veradale United Church of Christ is presenting a taste of New Orleans next Saturday to raise money for a mission trip to New Orleans for ongoing disaster relief work that continues after Hurricane Katrina.

The program begins at 7 p.m. and will include a Dixieland Jazz concert by the Colville High School Jazz Band, a dessert buffet and gift basket raffle.

The church is planning mission trips to New Orleans in February and March. Volunteers will be working on new homes by doing drywall, sanding and painting. For more information about the fundraiser or the mission trips, call the church office at 926-7173. The church is at 611 N. Progress Road.
