GSL schools 3-4-5 at Missoula

Tanner Teeples and Jacob Neumann each won their weight class to help the Central Valley Bears earn a third-place finish at the 28-team Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic on Saturday at Sentinel High School in Missoula.

Teeples was tops in the 112-pound division, and Neumann won the 215-pound division.

Central Valley totaled 187 points, trailing champion Flathead (277.5) and Havre (196).

University (183) placed fourth behind first-place finishes from Brian Owen (125 pounds) and Anthony Rivera (119).

Mead (139) was fifth and Coeur d’Alene (129) seventh.

Bonners Ferry’s Dayne Swisher won the 140-pound division.

•Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls had four individual champions en route to winning the nine-team Kelso (Wash.) Invitational.

Ryan Norstadt won the 112-pound division with a pin in the final; Jacob Lauderdale won the 119-pound class with a decision; Kyle Johnson had a first-round pin in the final to win the 135-pound division; and Reid Chivers had a third-round pin in the finals to finish first among 189-pounders.
