Raptors, Bosh top Blazers

Chris Bosh had 38 points and 14 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors beat Portland 116-109 in double overtime Sunday to hand the Trail Blazers their second loss in 19 games.

Bosh scored six points in the second OT to lead Toronto to its third straight victory.

Brandon Roy had a career-high 33 points and 10 assists for Portland, and made a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left in the first overtime that tied the game at 104.

Hornets 87, Rockets 82: At Houston, Chris Paul had 19 points and 11 assists and made four free throws in the final 15 seconds to lift New Orleans to a victory over the Rockets. Yao Ming had 30 points, 16 rebounds and six turnovers for the Rockets.

Hawks 105, Bulls 84: At Atlanta, Joe Johnson scored 37 points, including 25 in the first half, and the Hawks beat Chicago to end a 12-game losing streak in the series. Atlanta had not beaten the Bulls since a 116-101 victory in Chicago on April 9, 2004.

Knicks 89, Pistons 65: At New York, Zach Randolph scored 25 points and had eight rebounds and the Knicks rolled to a victory over Detroit.

Warriors 106, Pacers 101: At Oakland, Calif., Monta Ellis scored nine of his 29 points in the fourth quarter and Mike Dunleavy missed a key free throw for Indiana in the final seconds of Golden State’s victory. Baron Davis had 27 points for the Warriors.

Lakers 100, Grizzlies 99: At Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant scored 37 points, Kwame Brown made a foul shot with 9.2 seconds remaining, and the Lakers beat Memphis. Mike Miller had 27 points for the Grizzlies.

Los Angeles center Andrew Bynum was helped off the court with an apparent injury to his left knee early in the third quarter of the Lakers win over Memphis. Bynum came down on teammate Lamar Odom’s left foot while going for a rebound and dropped to the floor, clutching his knee. There was no immediate word as to the severity of the injury. … Miami’s Shaquille O’Neal returned to practice after missing eight games with a hip injury and is expected to play Wednesday against Chicago. … LeBron James was ticketed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for driving 101 mph on an interstate highway. James was cited in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 71 near Medina, Ohio at 2:43 a.m. on Dec. 30 – his 23rd birthday.
