Auditions

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School – Audition for the school’s intensive summer program, Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ballet Arts Academy, 416 W. Sprague. Women must bring a full-body picture of themselves wearing black leotard, pink tights and pointe shoes posed in first arabesque. Call for artists

2008 Twining Humber Award – Artist Trust is seeking nominations for the annual award for lifetime artistic achievement by female Washington state artists age 60 or older. The deadline is Friday. Art on the Green – Artists are invited to enter the poster design contest for Coeur d’Alene’s 40th annual Art on the Green. Posters should be 12-by-16 inches and include the information “40th Annual Art on the Green, Aug. 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2008, on the grounds of North Idaho College. The Citizen’s Council for the Arts.” The council’s logo should also appear on the poster, which should be unframed. The deadline is March 24; the winner will receive $600. Artists Loose on the Palouse – Artists are invited to apply for a booth at a two-day art festival hosted by On Sacred Grounds in Valleyford on July 18-19. Art and handmade crafts can be in any media. Orient/Inchelium/Valley Arts Consortium – Local visual artists, musicians, dancers, actors and others are needed to present programs to students in Northeastern Washington’s Orient, Inchelium and Valley school districts.
