Gymnastics

Emma Vidmar and Brittney Szoke finished 2-3 in all-around to lead Central Valley to a victory in a Greater Spokane League four-way meet Wednesday at Ferris. CV breezed past runner-up Ferris 151.1-135.5. Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) was third with 134.35, followed by Rogers 101.75. Lakeside’s Loreah Winlow finished first in uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around (32.325). Vidmar won the balance beam and finished with 31.5 points overall. Szoke tallied 29.175. CV’s Courtney Sexton won the vault.

Girls basketball

Cory Druffel scored 11 points to spark visiting Pullman to a 55-47 Great Northern League victory over Clarkston. Kirsi Voshell added 10 points for Pullman (13-1, 7-0). Kellie McCann-Smith had five steals and a game-high 17 points to pace Clarkston (6-8, 3-5).

Boys basketball

AJ Sanford scored 28 points and added seven steals and seven assists to send visiting Pullman (12-1, 7-0) to a 64-52 win over Clarkston in GNL play. Dustin MConnell’s 15 points topped Clarkston.
