Lexie Pettersen fouled out midway through the final period and Ferris pared Shadle Park’s lead to 45-39.

Pettersen led the third-place Highlanders (13-3) with 22 points and eight rebounds to dominate the Saxons (6-10).

University 52, Gonzaga Prep 48: The Titans (11-4) had a tough time at G-Prep, but solid free-throw shooting down the wire enabled U-Hi to prevail over the Bullpups (7-9). Kasey Jurich led U-Hi with 19 points. G-Prep’s Kate Judge led all scorers with 20 points.

Mead 53, Mt. Spokane 38: Jazmine Redmon scored 20 points to fuel the second-place Panthers’ (13-2) road victory over the Wildcats (4-11). Redmon had eight field goals, two of them 3-pointers.
