Woman’s name misspelled

Mary Slinskey-Abele is the executive chef at the University of Idaho. Her last name was misspelled in Wednesday’s Food section because of a reporter’s error.

Man was home alone

A Page One story in last Thursday’s newspaper should have said Jon Higginson was alone at his apartment before he responded to a Spokane Valley fire to rescue two children. Incorrect information was given to the newspaper.
