Two Ferris sophomores become Eagle Scouts

Sawyer Hamann, of Troop 313, was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest award given in the Boy Scouts.

For his project, Hamann installed three wildlife water guzzlers for the Conservation Reservation Program for the State of Washington.

He is going to be a sophomore at Ferris High School.

“Sam Read, soon-to-be a sophomore at Ferris High School, was recently awarded Eagle Scout.

Read is a member of Troop 313. For his project, he supervised the construction and installation of shelving units for the Infant Crisis Bank at the Mission Community Outreach Center.

He is the son of Paul and Julie Read of Spokane.
