Station information incorrect

Sunday’s profile of radio journalist Stephen Kaufman contained incorrect information about three radio stations. WXYZ (Kaufman’s imaginary childhood station) was also a real station in Detroit. The radio station for San Bernardino Valley College is KVCR, and station KCKC-AM is in San Bernardino, Calif., not Massachusetts.

Details of defeat incorrect

The U.S. Navy defeated a Spanish squadron outside the harbor of Santiago, Cuba, on July 3, 1898, during the Spanish-American War. Details of the encounter were misstated in a Today in History item supplied by the Associated Press.
