Italian Festival planned at farmers’ market

The Liberty Lake Farmers’ Market will host an Italian Festival at the market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The events include a sausage making demonstration at 10 a.m., bread tasting at 10:30 a.m. and a gelato demonstration at 11 a.m. The Liberty Lake Children’s Library will host a story time and activities for children, including a “Name that Noodle” pasta matching activity.

Also, guests can have their picture taken next to the 7-foot-tall to-scale model of the Leaning Tower of Pisa or watch a bocce demonstration at noon.
