Auction to include rafting trip, golf

Next Saturday, the Blanchard Community Center, 685 Rusho Lane, will host the Blanchard Daze Auction, beginning at 11 a.m.

Auction items include a river-rafting trip, tickets to Silverwood theme park, rounds of golf and much more.

There is no charge for admittance to the auction or early preview of items. A pancake breakfast will be available for $6 just prior to the auction, from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Other Blanchard Community Center events include: Drawings and paintings of live models by the Blanchard Arts Guild Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 437-2266; a presentation by Beth Paragamian of the Idaho Fish and Game Department, who will about “Wolves” at the BASIC meeting on Thursday at 10 a.m.; each Tuesday at 7 p.m. BASIC Bingo will begin at 7 p.m., doors open at 6:30.
