Reardan man dies after car hits house

A 41-year-old Reardan man died Sunday night when he lost control of his car and hit a house.

No one inside the home south of Reardan was hurt, said Lincoln County Undersheriff Kelly Watkins.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, missed a curve on Waukon Road, Watkins said. His 1988 Toyota hit a parked car, then hit the home.

No other details were available late Sunday, and Watkins did not know whether there were others in the car. His agency and the Washington State Patrol were just arriving on the scene.
