Cardinals 7, Reds 2: At Cincinnati, Ryan Ludwick homered and drove in four runs to lead St. Louis over the Reds. St. Louis’ Albert Pujols was helped off the field in the top of the seventh with a strained left calf.

Marlins 5, Phillies 4: At Miami, Hanley Ramirez led off the game with one of Florida’s three home runs off Philadelphia starter Brett Myers, and the Marlins beat the Phillies. Jorge Cantu and Mike Jacobs both hit two-run homers for Florida.

Nationals 7, Pirates 6: At Pittsburgh, Ronnie Belliard hit two homers and Lasting Milledge’s two-run shot with two outs in the ninth sent Washington over the Bucs.

Astros 6, Brewers 1: At Houston, Lance Berkman homered and hit a bases-loaded triple, and Roy Oswalt pitched seven solid innings for his first win in almost a month to lead the Astros past Milwaukee.

Diamondbacks 9, Mets 5: At New York, Chris Snyder hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth and Arizona rallied from a 5-1 deficit to hand the Mets their fifth straight loss.

Cubs 10 Braves 5: At Chicago, Ted Lilly settled down after a shaky start to get his first win in three weeks and Derrek Lee and Geovany Soto homered as the Cubs beat Atlanta. Braves starter Tom Glavine left in the third inning with a strained left elbow and is headed for the DL.

Dodgers 7, Padres 2: At San Diego, Russell Martin and Matt Kemp drove in two runs each in a four-run seventh inning as Los Angeles beat the Padres.

Rockies 10, Giants 5: At Denver, Todd Helton hit a three-run homer and Colorado ended San Francisco’s seven-game road winning streak.
