Spokane Guilds’ School Appreciation Night

Celebrating donors, volunteers and staff by the Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center’s Board of Directors.

Secind Annual Golf Tournament

Proceeds benefit the Newport Hospital and Health Services Foundation. Lots of prizes and silent auction at the dinner following the tournament.

Endowment Dinner

Presented by Spokane Civic Theatre, honoring longtime Civic supporters, Robert and Margot Ogden. Attendees will indulge in a meal, catered by Europa Restaurant and Bakery, and served on the Main Stage. Following will be a preview showcase of the musical lineup for the 2008-09 season, including numbers from upcoming musicals “Oklahoma!”, “A Christmas Carol,” “The Musical: No, No, Nanette,” “Godspell,” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and “Sweeney Todd.” Limited seating is available for those who wish to attend only the showcase, with dessert and one glass of champagne included. Dinner at 6:30 p.m., show at 8.

“State of the Scotchmans”

Mozart on a Summer’s Eve

The theme of the concerts is “Mozart In Prague – from Vienna’s Castles to Prague’s Parks” with a program that includes Mozart, Krommer and Dvorak. Presented by Connoisseur Concerts.

Battle of the Bands against Cancer

“Climb to Conquer Cancer” Fundraiser

The first of what is to become an annual American Cancer Society fundraiser event. Teams of 10 to 15 members can either walk or run to complete a moderate five-mile hike while raising donations for their efforts. A Western show, barbecue and live music will follow the event.
