Larry and Miriam Kruse will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home on Saturday.

Hosts for the event will include their children: Steven Kruse, Chesapeake, Va.; Karla Sharkey, Oak Harbor, Wash.; and Scott Kruse, Colfax.

The couple were married June 7, 1958, in Spokane. They have three grandchildren.
