Orthodox Lent

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1703 N. Washington St., will offer a question-and-answer session Tuesday at 7 p.m. about “Great Lent.” It starts March 10, or “Clean Monday.”

Lenten film

Manito United Methodist Church, 3220 S. Grand Blvd., will present the movie “Saving Grace” today at 4 p.m.

Part of the church’s “Films of Faith – Lenten Movie Series,” it centers on Pope Leo XIV as he’s locked out of the Vatican.

Admission is free. Popcorn and soda will be provided, and there will be a conversation after the movie.

Church concert

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave., will present the Consort Columbia Vocal Ensemble on Sunday at 4 p.m.

The group, which is from the Tri-Cities, will perform “American Hallelujah.”

Mother to speak

Valley Bible Church, 3021 S. Sullivan Road, will host guest speaker Billie Palmer on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Palmer is a mother to 23 children – six biological and 17 adopted.
