•Marcus McKimmy’s three-run homer with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Gonzaga Bulldogs (3-4) a 7-6 victory over the BYU Cougars (1-5) in the first game of a doubleheader at the Patterson Baseball Complex.

In the nightcap, Grand Kveder was 2 for 3 and drove in four runs as the Bulldogs routed the Cougars 12-5. Evan Wells and Tyson Van Winkle chipped in with two RBIs apiece.
