Melanie Cook exchanged wedding vows with Nathan Donaldson in an Aug. 18 ceremony at CenterPlace.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Linda Cook, Spokane Valley. The groom is the son of Janice Donaldson, Spokane Valley, and Ed Donaldson, Post Falls.

A reception was held at the wedding site. The couple are living in Spokane Valley and planned to take a honeymoon at a later date.

The bride is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and a graduate student at Whitworth University. The groom is a police officer with the Spokane Police Department.
