Sen. Roach gestured first

A story published Friday about a confrontation between Washington state Sens. Pam Roach, R-Auburn, and Mike Hewitt, R-Walla Walla, incorrectly stated the sequence of events as alleged because of a reporter’s error. Roach was apparently the first to make a disrespectful physical gesture.
