In brief: Deadline extended for corridor input

Spokane Valley planning commissioners have extended the deadline for written comments on a major plan to revitalize the city’s Sprague-Appleway corridor.

Public testimony was closed Thursday night after two more hours in a hearing that was continued from March 13, and the cutoff for written comments was to have been March 21.

However, commissioners extended the deadline until 5 p.m. April 4.
