How do I set up a phone line just to receive faxes?

This is a solution when you need just an occasional place to deliver a fax message, when you don’t have a physical fax machine.

Use a new service out of Seattle called K7 — at www.k7.net.

The free service, once you sign up, creates a virtual fax line. Messages sent to the number you’re assigned end up sent to your e-mail inbox. A number of other Web companies do similar things. This one works very simply and intuitively.
