Fairfield City Council – Council members heard an update on the community center remodeling project. The city has submitted a grant request to the Washington State Department of Transportation for pedestrian bridges and sidewalks. The council approved a plan to remove several damaged trees. Rockford City Council – A public hearing was held on an ordinance to amend subdivision regulations. The amendment was approved. A citizen spoke about the possibility of putting a small RV park in Rockford. Liberty Lake SCOPE – Volunteer Sally Duenow was awarded the Liberty Lake SCOPE Person of the Year Award. The Liberty Lake Kiwanis gave all the volunteers awards for outstanding community service. Volunteers plan to have a SCOPE car in the Junior Lilac Parade today.
