Puckett re-elected to Lakeland board

Incumbent Barbara Puckett was re-elected to the Lakeland School Board on Tuesday. Puckett, with 70 votes to Dan Gregg’s 48, will represent residents in Zone 2, which includes the Athol and Bayview area.

Tim Skubitz, owner/operator of the Rathdrum McDonald’s, was elected trustee in Zone 3, which includes Garwood, Chilco, Twin Lakes and Lower Twin Lakes, extending south to Boekel Road.

Skubitz received 86 votes, followed by Paul Matthews with 47 votes, Floyd Moyer with 15 votes and Richard Reese with 12 votes.

•Julie Hunt was the winner in Post Falls over Aimee Gerome with 81 votes out of the 130 ballots cast.
