Nvest Real Estate, of Spokane, has merged with the Keller Williams Realty Spokane office.
Nvest, launched several years ago by Mike Baumgarten, will continue as a branch office of Keller Williams.
Baumgarten said he will remain as manager of that northwest Spokane office, which primarily deals in commercial and residential property in the Suncrest and Lake Spokane area.
Baumgarten said he and Bruce Hardie, who heads Spokane’s Keller Williams group, have discussed a merger for a few years.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Working with Keller Williams, one of the nation’s largest real estate companies, will add more exposure to the Nvest listings and help during a slowdown in the market, Baumgarten said.
“It will also give us expanded opportunities to grow our market presence in other areas of Spokane,” he said.
