Whitworth symphony plans Nov. 16 concert

The Whitworth Wind Symphony fall concert, “Beyond” will be Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. at the Cowles Auditorium.

The Symphony, under the Professor of Music Richard Strauch, will open with Wataru Hokoyama’s “Beyond,” followed by performances of Serge Rachmaninov’s “Vespers,” and Percy Grainger’s “Lincolnshire Posy.” Other pieces will include “Myaku,” by David Dzubay, “Perthshire Majesty,” by Samuel Hazo, and “Bells for Stokowski,” by Michael Daugherty.
