Grading the cougars: C

Quarterback: C

Lopina sparked drives with his feet, but his two interceptions hurt.

Running backs: C-

There were a few big runs; one each from Mitz and Tardy. Fumbled reverse may have cost a score.

Receivers: C-

Fewer drops than last week, but there was little in the way of yards after catch.

Offensive line: D+

A couple of key penalties, three sacks and only 94 yards rushing.

Defensive line: C+

They did a good job often at the point of attack but wore down in second quarter.

Linebackers: D

Allowed too many yards on cutbacks after line had walled off a side. Missed too many tackles.

Defensive backs: B

A big interception and decent tackling. Totaled 41 tackles.

Special teams: B+

Punt team, kickoff coverage team, kickoff-return team all shined. Best game of year.

Coaching: C+

With hands tied by injuries, schemes gave Cougars a chance on both sides of ball.
