Richie and Zoe, cool as kitties

What would reality television be without catfights?

Boring, apparently. Good thing we’ll never know, because there will always be minor-league celebrities trading surly slams.

New York Posts gossip-monger Richard Johnson reports that Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie have made nice.

Who knew they were on the outs?

Zoe, star of the Bravo reality show “The Rachel Zoe Project,” was upset when Richie called her “lettuce cup” and “raisin face” on her MySpace page. “Raisin face”?

Zoe, according to Johnson, cried about the comments on her show. But then there the two were on Wednesday night, smiling and chatting at the Vogue party hosted at the Alberta Ferretti store opening in Los Angeles.

“Nicole and Rachel introduced their husbands to each other,” an observer told the Post. “They talked for 20 minutes about real estate and the economy.”

No singing for her supper

So why did Rihanna cancel her recent Jakarta concert, which had pre-sold some 6,000 tickets? Seems the 20-year-old singer had security concerns. Several countries have issued travel advisories regarding Indonesia after the weekend executions of three Islamic militants convicted in the 2002 Bali bombings. Rihanna may reschedule for January.

It’s back to Malibu for both

Christian Slater and Brooke Shields may soon meet … in the unemployment line. Entertainment Weekly’s Web site is reporting that NBC plans to cancel Slater’s schizoid adventure show “My Own Worst Enemy” and Shields’ steamy “Lipstick Jungle.”

No snow job for ‘Bachelorette’

Thought you might want to know DeAnna Pappas, star of ABC reality TV’s “The Bachelorette,” remains friends with short-lived boyfriend Jesse Csincsak.

“Me and DeDe definitely do still talk,” pro-snowboarder Csincsak says. “We text message and whatnot, with an occasional phone call, but we’re trying to give each other our space.”

Electra shocks the world

Looking for the perfect Christmas present for that special guy? A source at Playboy magazine revealed to People mag that it will feature 36-year-old Carmen Electra, sans all clothing, in an eight-page pictorial in January’s issue. The issue will go on sale Dec. 12.

Live fast, die young … rock on

Being a rock star doesn’t help your longevity. When drummer Mitch Mitchell was found dead on Wednesday in a Portland hotel, he closed out the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Guitarist Hendrix himself died at age 27 in 1970, bassist Noel Redding was 57 when he died in 2003.

Mitchell, who died apparently of natural causes, was the old man at 61.
