Coeur d’Alene drops Post Falls

 

Kama Griffitts hit four 3-pointers and led all scorers with 16 points as Coeur d’Alene beat visiting Post Falls 56-38 Friday night in an Inland Empire League game.

The third quarter was the difference as Coeur d’Alene outscored Post Falls 24-6. Katelyn Loper and Aynslee Stuart scored in double figures for Post Falls.

Also in the IEL, two-time Gatorade Player of the Year Katie Baker shined while compiling 27 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four blocks as host Lake City beat Moscow 70-40. Nikki Tatham and Taylor Anderson each had eight points for Moscow.

•Ruth Brunelle led Lakeside (Plummer) with 13 points and nine rebounds as it defeated visiting Clark Fork 51-25 in non-league action. … Potlatch’s Jamie Haddock was the only player in double figures with 12 points, but it wasn’t enough as visiting Timberlake was victorious 47-31.

•Camille Reynolds scored 22 points and added five steals and three assists as Lakeland beat St. Maries 58-37 in a tournament game at Lewiston. Karly Truscott led St. Maries with 14 points. St. Maries plays Priest River today at 5 p.m. followed by Lakeland and Lewiston at 6:30.
