“Misfit Toyland” Holiday Celebration - Today, noon-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Entertainment Friday by Cusick School Choir. Featuring Santa’s Workshop, children’s activities, cookie decorating, photos with Santa and more than 10 beautifully decorated trees with many goodies. Saturday evening concludes the event with a festive meal, entertainment provided by Pend Oreille Players, and the raffling of the trees. Christkindlemarkt - Leavenworth’s Annual German style Christmas Market for the whole family offering continuous entertainment, 20 vendor booths, children’s activities, lantern decorating and writing letters to Santa. Campbell House Holidays - Visitors can tour the historic house on their own, listen to student pianists live, watch historic cooking demonstrations in the kitchen, and check out the special display of historic artifacts including period dresses, World War I mementos and antique calling card cases. Christmas Tree Sale - A fundraiser for the nonprofit Hutton Settlement, which houses children. Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sale begins Saturday and continues until the trees are sold out. “Journey to the North Pole” Holiday Lights Cruises - 40-minute lake cruises to see holiday lights and visit Santa’s North Pole Toy Workshop. Victorian Village is adorned with more than 5,000 lights. Santa Express - For age 4-12. Kids can find fun, inexpensive gifts with the help of volunteer elves who also will help them wrap the gifts. Prices range from 50 cents to $7.50.
