Actors sought for ‘Lockerbie’

The Spokane Civic Theatre, 1020 N. Howard St., will hold auditions for “The Women of Lockerbie” at 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Five women, appearing ages 40 to70, and two men, appearing ages 40 to 60, are needed. Participants will be expected to do cold readings from the script.

Rehearsals will begin one week after the auditions are held. Performances will run Thursdays through Sundays from Jan. 30 to Feb. 22.

December dates set for musical

The Spokane Children’s Theatre will continue performances of “Madeline’s Christmas” at the Spokane Civic Theatre, 1020 N. Howard St., in December.

Scheduled shows:

•10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. Dec. 6.

•7 p.m. Dec. 7.

•10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 13. The Dec. 13 performances will also be presented in sign language for the hearing impaired.

Tickets for the musical cost $10 for adults and $8 for children. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 325-SEAT or visiting www.ticketswest.com.

Fairfield

Bazaar and more will mark holidays

The Old Fashioned Christmas Gift Bazaar will be held Dec. 6 at the Fairfield Community Center, at 304 E. Main, in Fairfield.

The bazaar will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring crafts and gifts for sales from more than 20 local vendors. Christmas trees will also be for sale. The Fairfield Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will have a bake sale.

Fairfield’s holiday festivities included in the Old Fashioned Christmas celebration include Santa’s arrival at 9:30 a.m. at the Fairfield Hardware Store, pictures with Santa at the Bank of Fairfield at 10 a.m., and a pancake breakfast at the Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon.
