Grading the cougars: D-

Quarterback: C

It’s hard to grade any lower when the starter is on his back much of the game.

Running backs: D

Even when the holes opened, which wasn’t often, they were slow to use them.

Receivers: D

The Beavers locked them up most of the game, with only Anderson getting free deep once.

Offensive line: F

Injuries have decimated this group and OSU dominated it up front.

Defensive line: C-

A lot of tackles (Mattingly, Kooyman had 18) and big hits, but too many holes.

Linebackers: C-

Bland is a find, Trent was all over the field and Beck came up with an interception.

Defensive backs: D

The two interceptions don’t offset the 225 passing yards – or the long runs.

Coaching: D-

The slow starts to both halves happen too often and have to be fixed.

Special teams: D

A blocked punt and lack of discipline on kickoff returns cost the Cougars.
