•Gonzaga remained winless in the West Coast Conference after falling 25-27, 25-17, 19-25, 15-25 to 16th-ranked Pepperdine (15-1, 3-1) at Malibu, Calif.

Elaina Renius had 17 kills and Paige Dillingham had 22 digs for the Bulldogs (6-15, 0-5), who dropped their sixth straight match but avoided a sweep at Pepperdine’s Firestone Fieldhouse for the first time since 1998.
