Grading the cougars: D-

Quarterback: C-

With Lopina back from injury, he wasn’t asked to do much but had an inexplicable interception.

Running backs: D

Lack of holes meant lack of yardage, but the fumble didn’t help.

Receivers: C-

Maybe this should be an incomplete, because there wasn’t much on which to base a grade.

Offensive line: D-

It’s hard to downgrade a group that’s beat up and outmanned.

Defensive line: F

No pressure from the outside and no resistance to the running game inside.

Linebackers: F

The number of times they were on the ground was hard to enumerate.

Defensive backs: D

Receivers were running free all game, but a big part of that was the lack of pressure.

Coaching: D

This wasn’t as bad as Oregon State in that USC is a much better team.

Special teams: B

Actually, other than the punt team, not much to grade here.
