Auditions

“No, No, Nanette” – Spokane Civic Theatre will host auditions Dec. 15-16, 6:30 p.m., at 1020 N. Howard St. Participants will be expected to perform a musical number from another show, not to exceed one minute in length, in addition to cold readings from the script. Classes and workshops

Watercolor Greeting Card Class – For participants 14 years and older, Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon, at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn, Uniontown, Wash. Each student will make four mini watercolor paintings for greeting cards. Cost: $20, includes materials. Students may bring a blow dryer if they have one, and their own greeting stamps. American and Cultural Folk Dance Instruction – Offered by Silver Spurs Folk Dancers, for children ages 9-18. Idaho Writers League – Coeur d’Alene Chapter – Group of writers of all genres, ages teens through seniors, meets semi-monthly to exchange ideas, learn through workshops how to improve their craft, and provide support. Japan Week 2009 Flyer – The Japanese Cultural Center at Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute is accepting designs for this year’s flyer. Designs can be any Japanese theme and must be two colors only: black and another color of the artist’s choice.
