STP show changes venues
Saturday’s Stone Temple Pilots/Black Rebel Motorcycle Club show, originally scheduled at the Spokane Arena’s Star Theatre, has been moved to the Knitting Factory, 919 W. Sprague Ave. The show is now sold out because of the switch to a smaller venue.
•Spokane singer-songwriter star and visual artist Karli Fairbanks shows off her multi-faceted talent tonight for her show titled “Out of Melodies Pictures Appear.” The opening reception – which runs from 6 to 10 p.m. at Empyrean Coffee House, 154 S. Madison St. – features a dozen paintings on display while Fairbanks performs the songs that inspired each one.
•Local alt-rock Americana outfit Buffalo Jones unveils its new album at an extravaganza of a CD release party on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Caterina Winery, 905 N.
