ACH, Cusick remain unbeaten in NE 1B
Matt Gregson completed 18 of 29 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns Friday, including a 40-yard TD to Shawn Dahlenburg in the third quarter that gave visiting Almira/Coulee-Hartline (2-0, 2-0 Northeast 1B) the lead for good during a 38-32 win over host Columbia at Hunters.
Dahlenburg had 111 yards receiving and 93 yards rushing. The Lions dropped to 1-2, 1-2.

Cusick 46, Wilbur-Creston 0: The visiting Panthers (2-0, 2-0) thumped the Wildcats (1-1, 1-1).
Pateros 46, Curlew 0: The Billygoats cruised past the visiting Cougars to leave both teams 1-1.
Wellpinit 34, Sprague-Harrington 8: Justin Wynecoop ran for 171 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 145 yards to fuel the Redskins’ road victory over the Falcons (0-2). Freshman Tom Boring rushed for 159 yards and one touchdown for Wellpinit (1-1, 1-1).
Odessa 60, Inchelium 14: Alex Null rushed for 233 yards and two touchdowns as the Tigers (1-1, 1-1) routed the visiting Hornets (0-2, 0-2) in a game that ended in the third quarter because of the mercy rule.

Colton-Pullman Christian 62, St. John-Endicott 16: Sam Robertson rushed for 182 yards and added 152 yards receiving to spur the Wildcats (2-0, 1-0) past the visiting Eagles (0-2, 0-1). Colton-Pullman Christian finished with 616 total yards, 344 on the ground.
North Star
Kootenai 46, Mullan 0: Ben Shannon ran for 183 yards and three touchdowns and Kolton Willms rushed for two scores and passed for another as the Warriors (3-0, 2-0) pounded the visiting Tigers (1-2, 1-2) at Harrison. Kootenai limited Mullan to minus-3 yards rushing and 28 yards passing.
Wallace 38, Lakeside 28: The visiting Miners (2-0, 2-0) led 38-6, then hung on as Lakeside (1-2, 1-2) scored three fourth-quarter touchdowns at Plummer. Wallace’s Nick Arthun tossed four touchdown passes.
Non-league
Sandpoint 22, Middleton 6: Jake Semones connected on two touchdown passes to Jordan Hammock as the Bulldogs earned a road victory. The Bulldogs (2-1) held Middleton to 212 total yards.
Lind-Ritzville 27, Brewster 9: Kerry Tyler passed for 188 yards and three touchdowns, two going to Cory Whitmore, to lead the Broncos to a season-opening win over the visiting Bears. Tyler and Whitmore’s scoring connections covered 32 and 25 yards.
Pullman 41, Moscow 0: Lance Keithley ran for a pair of scores as the host Greyhounds (2-0) piled up 237 yards on the ground while holding the Bears (2-1) to minus-46 yards rushing. Pullman used a 22-point third quarter to pull away.
Kamiah 28, St. Maries 10: Shawn Murphy’s 256 yards rushing and four touchdowns helped Kamiah outlast host St. Maries (0-3). The Lumberjacks scored first on Jaden Guiddrey’s 25-yard touchdown pass to Marc Gurbham and led 10-6 until Murphy’s 15-yard scoring dash in the third quarter.
Bonners Ferry 21, Kettle Falls 13: Jabi Sale’s 3-yard touchdown run with 1:15 left broke a 13-13 tie as the host Badgers (1-1) edged the Bulldogs (0-2). Robbie Gust’s 45-yard run set up Sale’s TD run.
West Valley 42, Lakeside 17: Drew Clausen had 211 yards passing and a pair of TDs, guiding West Valley (2-0) to a road victory over the Eagles (1-1) at Nine Mile Falls.
Garfield-Palouse 41, Springdale 0: Tyson Palmer scored five touchdowns, four on pass receptions, as the Vikings (2-0) defeated the visiting Chargers.
Jordan Palmer completed 7 of 9 passes for 176 yards and five scores.
Deer Park 32, Freeman 14: Tanner Knutson caught three touchdown passes and Alex Wolf rushed for 113 yards and two scores in a win over the visiting Scotties. The Stags (2-0) shut out Freeman (0-1) in the second half.
Coeur d’Alene 23, Moses Lake 13: The Vikings (1-1) built a 20-6 halftime lead and went on to a road victory over the Chiefs. J.J. Turbin completed 17 of 21 passes, including scoring strikes to Ryan Dunton and Jackson Seaman.
Chewelah 27, Medical Lake 20: The Cougars (1-1) snagged their first win over the host Cardinals (0-1).
Riverside 20, Reardan 0: The Rams (2-0) notched a victory over the visiting Indians (0-1).
Lewiston 55, Hermiston 45: The Bengals improved to 3-0 by winning a scoring shootout over the visiting Bulldogs. Justin Podrabsky passed for 319 yards on 11 completions.
Priest River 35, Newport 14: Brian Nelson had two rushing touchdowns as the Spartans (2-0) gained 315 yards on the ground to defeat the host Grizzlies.
Colville 28, Lakeland 17: The visiting Indians (1-1) defeated the Hawks (0-2) at Rathdrum.
