Cheney

Apartments proposed

The Community Development Department in Cheney has received an application to build a 12-unit studio apartment building at 2424 University Place.

Gary Geschke on his application said the building would be on a 77,500-square-foot lot and the new building would be two-stories and would include 12 parking spaces on the lot next to the property.

The planning department in Cheney is inviting residents to review the file in the Permit Center of the Community Development Department, 112 Anderson Road, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Comments on the project will be accepted through today.
