Colfax downs DeSales 20-10

Alex Teade intercepted a desperation pass as time ran down in the fourth quarter and returned it for a touchdown as visiting Colfax topped defending State 2B champion DeSales 20-10 in a non-league game Friday.

Kellen Morgan caught four passes for 34 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-0).

Great Northern

West Valley 45, Riverside 0: Freshman Dylan Ellensworth ran for three touchdowns and Drew Clausen threw two TD passes and rushed for two more as the Eagles (3-0, 1-0) thumped the Rams (2-1, 0-1).

North Star

Wallace 52, Mullan 40: Jordan Benz and Cody Cline carried in two touchdowns apiece and Jared Bilaski caught two TD passes from quarterback Nick Arthur as the Miners (3-0, 3-0) topped the Tigers (1-3, 1-3).

Kootenai 46, Clark Fork 0: Ben Shannon ran in three touchdowns and Dakota Amy caught two passes in the end zone from Kolten Willms in the Warriors’ (4-0, 3-0) victory over the host Wampus Cats (0-3, 0-3).

Northeast 2B

Springdale 42, Selkirk 7: Casey Pardun picked up 136 rushing yards on 14 carries and reached the end zone twice – as did teammate Damian Howder – as the host Chargers (2-1) defeated the Rangers (1-1) in a non-league game between two NE 2B League teams.

Cusick 50, Sprague-Harrington 0: Spencer Shanholtzer’s trio of touchdowns – two passing, one rushing – and a safety to boot led the Panthers (3-0, 3-0) to a lopsided victory over the visiting Falcons (0-3, 0-3).

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 54, Curlew 6: Grayson Sizemore led a 42-point first quarter for the Warriors (3-0, 3-0) with two trips into the end zone and ACH beat the host Cougars (1-2, 1-2).

Odessa 46, Columbia 34: Ryan King’s 259 passing yards and Aaron Bruya’s 214 receiving yards led the Tigers’ (2-1, 2-1) attack over the visiting Lions (1-2, 1-2).

Pateros 50, Wellpinit 0: Luke Bighouse and Ben Hoffman combined for five rushing touchdowns as the Billygoats (2-1, 2-1) trounced the host Redskins (1-2, 1-2).

Inchelium 52, Wilbur-Creston 26: Tony Louie rushed for 131 yards and passed for 154 in the host Hornets’ (1-2, 1-2) win over Wildcats (1-2, 1-2).

Non-league

Freeman 32, Priest River 14: Tanner Laib’s 29 carries for 139 yards and two touchdowns led the Scotties (1-1) to a victory on the road over the Spartans (2-1).

Moscow 31, Clarkston 28: Zach Hull collected 122 passing yards and ran for two touchdowns in the Bears’ (3-1) defeat of the host Bantams (0-3).

Lewiston 21, Pullman 14: Joey Walton’s 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter and Chris Schrette’s extra-point kick gave the host Bengals (4-0) the edge over the Greyhounds (2-1).

Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) 31, Medical Lake 28: Brady Blankevoort finished with 165 passing yards, 44 rushing yards and threw one TD and ran for another in the Eagles’ (2-1) win over the host Cardinals (0-2).

Deer Park 40, Kettle Falls 0: Kevin Heins caught two of Ryan Jorgensen’s three touchdown passes and ran for another in the Stags’ (3-0) win over the host Bulldogs (0-3).

Lakeland 28, Timberlake 22: Kyle McCrite had 17 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown in the Hawks’ (1-2) win over the host Tigers (0-3).

Davenport 62, Valley Christian 50: Justin Piper’s five TDs and 247 yards on 21 carries led the Gorillas (1-1) past the visiting Panthers. Brad Heden ran in five TDs for Valley Christian (0-3).

Colville 55, Chewelah 14: Kjell Perry scored three touchdowns and amassed 171 rushing yards and the host Indians (2-1) beat the Cougars (1-2).

LaCrosse-Washtucna 42, Lakeside (Plummer): Garrett Blauert, Cody Bennett and Justin Aune scored two touchdowns apiece in the visiting Tigercats’ (3-0) victory over the Knights (1-3, 1-2 North Star).

Reardan 26, Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia 8: Chris Pence made three trips into the end zone, finished with 15 carries and 116 yards in the host Indians’ (1-1) victory over visiting TOR (0-1).

Bonners Ferry 22, Newport 13: Javi Sale’s two touchdowns led the Badgers (2-1) past the host Grizzlies (0-2).

Asotin 41, Lind-Ritzville 7: Trevor Porbert had nine carries, 183 yards and two touchdowns and Roby Spooner picked up 142 yards and a TD on 12 carries in the visiting Panthers’ (2-1) victory over the Broncos (1-1).

Joseph (Ore.) 42, Colton-Pullman Christian 34: Chase Druffel ran for two TDs – 58 and 20 yards in length – but the Wildcats (2-1) gave up a 28-26 lead in the fourth quarter and lost to the out-of-state visitors.

Kellogg 28, Kamiah 12: Cole Lewis’ three touchdown runs – 41, 66 and 3 yards long in respective order – led the host Wildcats (1-2) to a win.

Eagle 37, Post Falls 20: The Trojans (1-2) couldn’t overcome the muscle of 5A’s third-ranked Eagle squad.

Lummi 58, St. John-Endicott 20: The Eagles (0-3) lost on the road.
