Wash. aerospace study leaked

A state study aimed at gauging Washington’s attractiveness to the aerospace industry has been leaked to an industry blog. The study, obtained by Leeham News and Comment, suggests that Washington has several disadvantages when companies like Boeing are planning new or expanded operations. Among them: higher taxes and labor costs than competing states. Gov. Chris Gregoire is planning a press conference this afternoon to announce legislation prompted by the study’s results.
