A vote of confidence

The Spokesman-Review

I’m glad manager Don Wakamatsu of the Seattle Mariners inserted relief pitcher Brandon Morrow in the game as the Mariners won Thursday against the Twins.

Morrow’s first outing was terrible, but by putting him in Thursday’s game, it helps build his confidence.

I look for the Mariners to have a much better season this year. I hope personal problems take an exit in the clubhouse and the Mariners play 100 percent as a team.

I still get a laugh out of the logo patch. A compass and the team is called the Mariners. Guess its better than the “Compasses.”
