LUTHERHAVEN DAY CAMP

Enjoy swimming, hiking, archery, arts and crafts, campfires, sing-alongs, Bible study and more. Weekly sessions available Monday-Friday. Where: Camp Lutherhaven, Lake Coeur d’Alene. CAMP SPOKANE – CHILDREN UNDER THE SUN

Exploration of city sites and sounds with access to educational opportunities, healthy meals and variety of outdoor activities. Ages: 5-8. Where: Little Red School House Children’s Center, 621 W. Sprague Ave. Dates: June 15-Aug. 28, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost: $180/week. Contact: 456-3776.

COUGAR KIDS CAMP

Go swimming and rock climbing or play sports and participate in activities based on each week’s theme. SPOKANE PARKS AND RECREATION SUMMER DAY CAMP

Club Invention Space Adventure: Explore the world’s place in space, visit EWU’s planetarium and explore the universe. Where: Audubon Park, 3405 N. Milton Ave. Dates: July 20-24.

Ahoy! Pirate Adventure: Learn pirate songs and legends while making pirate crafts and enjoying popular games and activities. Where: Friendship Park, 631 E. Greta. Dates: July 27-31.

Great Biking Exploration: Explore the ins and outs of Spokane by bike, focusing on a different theme each day. Where: Mission Park , 1200 E. Mission Ave. Dates: Aug. 3-7.

Mystery Week: Become a detective and try to solve daily camp mysteries with a lesson from Sherlock Holmes and plenty of clues. Where: Manito Playfield, 1702 S. Grand Blvd. Dates: Aug. 10-14.

Around the World in Five Days: Learn and play games unique to other cultures and learn to communicate with others who do not speak our language. Where: Coeur d’Alene Park, 2195 W. 2nd Ave. Dates: Aug. 17-21.

Final Shebang: Close out the summer in high style. Enjoy games and activities and finish with a pizza party. Parents welcome. Where: Franklin Park, 302 W. Queen Ave. Dates: Aug. 24-28.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS PARKS & RECREATION SUMMER ADVENTURE PROGRAM
