Protesters look silly

The Spokesman-Review

People who say, as a matter of principle, that taxes are bad, might just as well say “What is mine is mine, and what is yours is negotiable.”

The golden rule did not happen by accident. Wise people have known for a very long time that we all are better when we care for each other.

People just look silly protesting when taxes are at an all-time low.

They are like the patient who is undergoing a life-saving operation who protests that it hurts. Somalia has no government taxes (there may be some private taxes) and look what it has done for them.

Just think, we could be like that.
