The Vox seeks world-changers

From Staff Reports

The Vox, a monthly newspaper produced by area teens, is looking for suggestions: Do you know a graduate who will change the world?

Vox staff will feature five Spokane-area graduates who promise to improve our world for the better, in a variety of possible ways. The feature will run in the June/graduation edition – the final Vox edition for this school year.

The candidates don’t have to be college-bound, or have a perfect grade-point average. There are a variety of ways students might go out and change the world. They could include: determination, overcoming adversity and helping others, going above and beyond the call of duty and/or a drive to succeed.

This isn’t a contest. It’s a story – and we are soliciting ideas from our readers to write it.

Please send your suggestions by April 28 for a teenager you know who you feel will change the world to Vox adviser Erin Daniels-Bangle at erind@spokesman.com or 999 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA 99201. Members of the Vox staff can’t be nominated, and the student must be a teen graduating from a Spokane-area school this year.
