Reach for the future
From now on, if their parents agree, this year’s crop of second-graders will join a program in which they will board a bus after school and go to the Boys and Girls Club of Spokane for tutoring, mentoring, field trips and play. That interaction with their benefactors will continue through the kids’ senior year. Then, their college tuition will be paid – any that isn’t covered by scholarships.
