Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry said Friday he doesn’t know if the band will keep its current tour going because of injuries lead singer Steven Tyler suffered when he fell off a stage.

Tyler, 61, has a broken shoulder and stitches in his head, Perry said during a stop in Chicago for a radio interview.

“We still don’t know if we’re going to keep the tour up or what. It’s breaking my heart,” he said.

Friday night’s show in Winnipeg was postponed.

Tyler took his tumble Wednesday while performing during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.

He was entertaining the crowd by dancing around as the sound crew replaced a fuse that blew during “Love in an Elevator.”

Monkeying around, indeed

The wife of Monkees singer Micky Dolenz was arrested Friday for defrauding a public housing program in New York.

Authorities said Donna Quinter, 54, illegally received $136,866 in government rental subsidies for an apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

The subsidies were supposed to go to middle-income families who were in danger of being forced out of a rent-regulated apartment building being converted into luxury condos.

From Jay to Jay-Z

A performance by Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West will kick off Jay Leno’s new prime-time series this fall.

They’ll join forces on “Run This Town,” a tune from Jay-Z’s new album, on the Sept. 14 debut of “The Jay Leno Show.”
