Man ‘uncooperative’ after being stabbed in face

By The Spokesman-Review

Police are looking for the girlfriend of a man they say was stabbed in his neck, face and head today.

Roxanne Cloud, 27, is considered a “person of interest” in the stabbing of a Spokane man that was reported to police by the man’s mother, said Officer Kevin King.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of West Boone just after 4 p.m. today, where they found the victim, whom King described as “uncooperative.”

“He had tried to wash off the blood before police arrived,” King said. Police say the stabbing occurred about a block away in the 1100 block of North Walnut.

The man denies his girlfriend stabbed him, but police are hoping to talk to Cloud about what happened. Officers planned to search the Walnut address tonight, King said.
