Life on Grand is a scream

The Spokesman-Review

After reading Trudy Lundy’s letter on noise pollution (Aug. 13), I could do nothing but laugh, the dear lady must be extremely sensitive, but I don’t think she has any idea of what real noise is.

My own experience with the subject is living on South Grand Boulevard, what with the firetrucks and ambulances passing by with their sirens screaming. That sound alone is enough to give anyone a heart attack. As for the road traffic, the noise could give a NASCAR meeting a run for its money, not to mention the young people with their car stereos.

So if Trudy thinks she has problems with noises, I hope it makes her feel better that there are some of us who are in the same boat.
